Outreach Programs & Community Upliftment

The owner and founder of This is Cape Town has been working in community development for over 20 years from soup kitchens to setting up mobile libraries to community vegetable gardens to building and renovating of structures.

The main goal is to assist our underprivileged while embedding life-skills, self-esteem and appreciation for one another.

Paula often appears in the media for her contribution to building a better South Africa. One of the projects she is actively involved in received an award from ETV for South African Heroes. Her motto is that one is always only one decision away from a completely different life. She deeply believes that the simplest and subtlest intervention can fundamentally transform a person’s life.
