Table Mountain attracts more than 4.2 million visitors every year and is the most visited park in South Africa. It has 8 200 species of plant, which is more than the entire British Isles! We hike up to the top of Table Mountain via a Jeep Track and sleep in one of the mountain cabins up top, after dropping our heavy bags we are off to do some exploring of the best kept secrets on Table Mountain

Orange Kloof Hike
It was my first time hiking in Orange Kloof this past weekend and what a wonderful experience it was. Paula organized the permits for the group and was an excellent guide; helping us navigate the incredible gorge, ensuring we were all hydrated, fed, and safe and giving us interesting information about our surroundings. We were lucky enough to find quite a number of disas, which were beautiful! The group was friendly and welcoming and the hike was just awesome! Would highly recommend Paula for your next hiking adventure :)…

Junction Peak - Cape Town
Wow what a great hike! I recently joined Paula and a group she was leading to the lesser known ‘Junction Peak’ on Table Mountain and had an incredible experience. The route we took showed me beautiful parts of the mountain I didn’t know existed and offered breathtaking views of the mountain, dams and the stunning nature that Table Mountain has to offer. We also had stunning elevated views of many different sides of the city and surrounding mountains - which is special to experience. Reaching the top of Junction Peak was a great adventure and this hike now goes down as one of my most favourite ever :) Paula is a great guide; experienced, reliable and motivating and the group I joined were a very open and friendly bunch of people from all walks of life. 10/10 Thank you Paula !…

Wolfberg Cracks & Arch
Hiking through the breathtaking Wolfberg Cracks and to the Wolfberg Arch in the Cedarberg is something everyone should do at least once in their life. The Cedarberg Wilderness Area is close to Citrusdal and Clanwilliam in the Western Cape and is one of South Africa’s splendours. It’s a full day’s hike, both adventurous and satisfying. It is doable for the fit hiker who enjoys low grade scrambling. Enroute an orange glow radiates off the dramatic sandstone rock formations creating a warm, sensuous ambiance. I went in Springtime with a group led by Paula Faria. The amount of unusual, unique and interesting flowers within the arid terrain was staggering. We camped beneath a canopy of trees at the Nuwerust camp site. Nuwerust has a swimming pool, good amenities, and ablutions. It was a great privilege to have had the opportunity to hike the majestic, pristine, wild Wolfberg Cracks and Arch. This should be on the top of your list!…

Wolfberg Cracks won’t crack you and the Arch will arch your back. (It is BIG)
The best part of our Wolfberg Cracks and Arch hike was getting to the top of the cracks… out in the open where we could all celebrate and smile about defeating the hurdles. What fun! We were all slightly challenged, whether it be a fear of small spaces, clambering or just…
